Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to manage forecasting, planning, and coordination of production activities across multiple contract manufacturing partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in demand forecasting, supply chain management, and contract manufacturing operations.
The role involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to ensure accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and streamline production schedules.
Responsibilities:
Demand planning:
Maintain accurate demand models by monitoring current orders against scheduled raw materials and communicating to manufacturers make-orders to meet current for forecasted sales.
Professional Collaboration:
Interface with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to gather inputs and align on demand forecasts and production plans.
Contract Manufacturer Coordination:
Liaise with multiple contract manufacturers to communicate production schedules and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
Process Improvement:
Effectively report to management issues or concerns relative to contract manufacturers, inventory, order fulfilment and the overall demand planning process to increase accuracy and efficiency within the system.
Requirements:
Experience in demand planning, preferably within food or meat contract manufacturing.
Proficiency in MS Office 365 specifically Excel.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
Excellent communication skills for managing relationships with contract manufacturers.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
