As a Program Director with Good Shepherd, you will make a difference each and every day by helping to ensure that the services we provide are delivered with the greatest care.
You will be responsible for the successful operation of our Becker Assisted Living program.
In this role you will hire, coach and supervise the employees on your team.
Program Director- Registered Nurse / RN Responsibilities Ensure services are provided as detailed in the plan of care/service agreement at the time of admission and as needs change Coordinate delegated nursing tasks with the Registered Nurse (RN) Set a professional standard of positive leadership in daily coaching, training and communication Participate in the hiring/orientation process for new staff and coordinate/participate in all training Ensure adequate 24-hour staffing to meet the needs of clients Ensure Life Enrichment services are provided as scheduled to meet client needs Ensure a healthy and safe environment is maintained Work with Good Shepherd's Marketing/Welcome Center to proactively promote the Assisted Living program Coordinate services to address routine client and family requests/concerns Assist with move-in/move-out paperwork and unit transfers Participate in budget development and the accomplishment of budgetary goals Coordinate the delivery of food and ensure food handling standards are followed per licensure requirements Maintain current understanding of MDH, DHS and Housing licensure/regulatory compliance factors related to AL program Work with the VP of Outreach to establish goals/processes that improve customer service, quality of life and staff education/retention Program Director- Registered Nurse / RN Benefits Competitive Salary Generous Paid Time Off FREE Option for Health, Dental, Vision & Life Insurance for Employee 401K with Company Match Employee Referral Bonus Tuition Reimbursement Program Director- Registered Nurse / RN Schedule Will participate in the RN on-call rotation Will participate in weekend events as assigned for marketing or management coverage Registered Nurse / RN Qualifications Must be a currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Minnesota Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) required or obtain upon hire 3 years of experience working with older adults & people with dementia required 3 years of experience with direct supervision of staff preferred Demonstrated organizational, leadership and professional interpersonal communication skills Ability to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing Must have proficient computer skills Project, program and budget development experience Must be able to work independently, be self-motivated and have the ability to prioritize/multi-task in a fast-paced work environment Must have a current, valid Driver's License with no driving violations within the standards of Good Shepherd's insurability Keywords:
